Writer’s Guidelines

Would you like to write for us? We are looking for contributed articles that will reach a broad audience of industry professionals, researchers, and educators. Our readers are interested in techniques and tools that will improve how they manage, create their creativity. We are seeking articles that offer real innovations and solutions. All submissions must be original content that has not been published elsewhere.

We are interested in the following types of articles:

  • How-to or instructional articles that are research-based in describing how to do something in an online setting.
  • Case studies that situate the case within existing published research, and highlight the problem being addressed and the outcomes. Case studies should  not be promotional in nature,
  • Research articles that point out practical implications and can be applied to online settings.

We do not offer guest post accounts, linkbacks, or dedicated bylines. Advertorials or PR disguised as an editorial are out of scope and are not considered for publication.

Submission Guidelines

Our editorial team will discuss your pitch, and if we accept it, we’ll ask you to share a draft of your post. Next, it’s likely that one of our editors will want to work with you to do at least one round of revisions. Contributors frequently tell us that they appreciate the care and attention they receive when working with Mentor way editors to create a blog post that resonates with the people they’re trying to reach.

  • Articles should help the audience understand what’s new, what’s important, and what the take-home message is.
