JEE Main Result 2019:- National Testing Agency or NTA has the responsibility of conduction JEE Mains examination. The agency is also responsible for declaring the result of JEE Mains exams. JEE Mains exam will help students to take admission in top ranked engineering colleges in the country. It is one of the biggest entrance exam of the country.

Students who have qualified JEE Main 2019 will be eligible to take JEE Advanced 2019. It will help to take admission in the best institutes of the country like National Institute of Technology or NIT and other government colleges. The Result will give scores of all the three subjects, that is, Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

 

JEE Main 2019 result date

JEE Main 2019 result of paper 1 and paper 2 will be declared in online mode on 30th April and 15th. May respectively. Students need to add their registration number and date of birth before viewing the result date. The result will be announced by NTA.

JEE Main result will be available online once it is declared by the NTA. The ways to check JEE Main result are given below-

  • Go to the official website of NTA or visit jeemain.nic.in
  • Clink on the link provided on JEE Main 2019 result link
  • Log in to JEE Main result portal using following details-

-JEE Main application number

-Date of birth or password

  • JEE Main 2019 result will be displayed on the screen. Subject wise marks will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the result
  • Take print required for future reference

The Result will have various information included-

  • Name of the Student
  • Roll Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Name of Student’s parents
  • The state code of eligibility
  • Category and National Eligibility
  • Subject-wise NTA scores
  • Total NTA scores obtained in 1st attempt

 

Marking Scheme of JEE Exam

The marking scheme is given below for the JEE Main examination 2019.

  • For each correct question, student will get 4 marks
  • If the answer is wrong 1 mark will be deducted

By using the OMR sheets, students will be able to calculate their correct and incorrect attempts in the exam. Next, the total positive and negative marks will be calculated. The total score can be found by deducting the total negative marks from the total positive marks.

Total positive marks = (Total correct attempts) x 4

Total negative marks = (Total incorrect attempts) x 1

Therefore, it is always advisable to attempt the questions whose answers are known to the students.

JEE Main Cut off

JEE Main Cut off is different every year. The cut off is based on the number of applicants, availability of seats and previous years trends. It is important to score above the cut off to qualify the examination
